The Zoo

Nana and Paw Paw picked up Colton from school on Friday and kept him for the weekend. Colton was so excited. He's missed them lots and hasn't done much since being so sick.

Today Colton called to tell me they were on their way to the Houston Zoo. There wasn't very many animals out. Nana said there was alot of new construction going on and with the weather being on the chilly side, most of the animals stayed in. Colton was also disappointed because he didn't get to ride the train. They shut it down when it started to drizzle. He said that he still had a good time and maybe when he goes next time, there will be more things going on(and better weather).

Carter really missed Colton while he was gone. Jerry and I were discussing something, Carter had his head down like he was napping and one of us had said Colton's name...man, his little head popped up and he was looking all around for him.

It was nice to spend some good quality time with Carter this weekend too. This was the first time he had our full undivided attention. We got to see a different side of him. It's like he opened up and his personality really came through.
