We had our appointment with the specialist today. They did a cat scan on Colton to see if the infection in his sinus cavity improved since the last visit and month of antibiotics. It didn't. Colton doesn't seem to be responding to the antibiotics as he should. The doctor wanted to go ahead and give him a little more time before our next treatment option so he is having us continue the antibiotics at least another 2 weeks. He'll repeat the cat scan then and hopefully the infection will be cleared up. If not...he wants to discuss going in surgically and removing the infection in the sinus cavity.(YIKES) And, he wants to do more extensive allergy testing to figure out why he keeps getting so congested and sick all the time.
Carter... Is fine. Thank God! His last round of antibiotics did the trick.

This picture cracks me up! Colton was playing with one of his foam bullets to his gun when Carter took it away. Of course Colton fussed and complained to me. I told him to just let Carter have it and to find something else to play with and he did. A few seconds later, Carter starts trying to take the tractor Colton's now playing with. It was so funny because Carter put the foam bullet in his mouth (to free his hands) and started screaming when Colton wouldn't let him take the tractor.
If you look closely, you can see Carter's little cheeks blown up with the bullet sticking out of his mouth.
Carter loves putting on my sunglasses. You can see his scuff marks from the other day a little better now that their scabbing over.
